Joanne & Lance Murphy
Joanne grew up spending her summers in Port Austin at the family cottage just west of town until the age of 15. Every summer of her life has included time here in Port Austin. In 1988, Lance made his first visit to Port Austin and hasn’t missed a summer since. In 2016, while contemplating the next chapter of life,
Joanne found this house on Zillow. Although a bed and breakfast was not on the list of ideas, this house had that potential and it was in Port Austin. It was a chance to save and restore an historic building and to live and invest in a town they loved.
