Below are the protocols you’ll find place when you stay at Port Austin Bed and Breakfast. This statement overrides any contradiction to our regular posted policies. This list will be updated as guidance changes over time.

Check-in Check-out/Around the Inn

• No masks are required but guests who wish to wear a mask are welcomed to do so.

• If you are feeling ill, even if you think its allergies, please take precautions around us and other guests until you can test. If you test positive for COVID, you will need to terminate your stay. We cannot refund nor provide later dates for shortened stays.

Food Service

• We will continue Breakfast seating in our breakfast room, tap room and south patio giving guests a chance to social distance if they desire to do so.

• Although we will continue to serve breakfast at the table, there may be occasions we offer a common food source such as a snack table, fruit bowl or etc.

Housekeeping

• We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

• We can’t provide daily housekeeping service but have a system in place to provide fresh towels or other amenities by request.

• Guest will be asked to leave overhead fan on at checkout for staff safety.

• Port Austin Bed and Breakfast utilizes air scrubbing sanitation systems on both floors.

• Frequently touched surfaces are sanitized regularly.
